Star Trek is one of the most celebrated and loved Sci-Fi franchises of all time. The franchise has been going on for many decades and has not stopped since then. Currently, they are making another reboot show and are even in talks about making another movie. Star Trek is a franchise that I grew up on because of my dad. When the debate started, I didn't really have a stance on the topic. I was having a hard time choosing between the red or blue pill. I decided on whether to know the truth no matter how bad, or ignore it and live in the simulation. In the end, I found myself still stuck on the decision. When I first heard about Blade Runner, it was because of the trailer for the sequel. I didn't know much about the original except for the fact that Harrison Ford is the star. After watching it, I found myself enjoying it and seeing symbolism within the movie.  The movie is based on the short story about Phillip K. Dick. It was originally called Do Androids Dream of Sleep? He also wrote many other books including The Man in the High Castle and Ubik. He had many influences on his stories. One of the biggest ones is H.G.
